been looking for good indian in lamorinda and still looking unfortunately. saffron serves indian food catered to the lamo crowd and ostensibly reasonably priced food is simply small portions.
I love getting takeout from Saffron India. They consistently provide such flavorful and delicious food, and I am so grateful for this wonderful restaurant. My current fave is their chicken biryani. Thank you so much!
Great food! Loved the service and ambience. The staff were genuine and understanding. The food I ordered was biryani and butter chicken, the taste was really great.
Used to be my favorite Indian place. The curry was so thick and flavorful, but something changed recently. We stopped by this weekend and the meat was still good but the sauce is more loose/watery. Curry is still pretty good overall but used to be amazing. I'll go back again and update if any better.
We keep coming to eat at Saffron. They have great authentic Indian food, nice atmosphere and cheerful service.
