Some really mediocre food for the price. Their butter chicken is closer to chicken curry than butter chicken. Tasted really tart and the chicken was dry and chewy. Great naan, but for 20 or whatever bucks you pay for curry it comes with nothing. Which is fine but it didn’t even taste good.
I've eaten my way through Indian restaurants from London to Singapore, and Saffron's lamb rogan josh stopped me in my tracks - the depth of spice layering was something you rarely find outside of specialty spots. The room itself was calm and well-lit for a weekday dinner, with a level of quiet attentiveness from the staff that you don't always get at busy neighbourhood places. Came in for the buffet and the restaurant wasn’t very busy, but it still took about 20 minutes just to get water. The food was okay, though it didn’t have much flavor. Not sure if I’d return based on this visit.
Good place to go for a dinner.peaceful and welcoming environment.
