Best Indian lunch Buffet in town – I have been to Saffron twice sine I moved to Greensboro a couple of months ago. First time I went for dinner, the food was good and tasty but not unique in any way. The service was a little too aggressive but all in all it was a good experience. Two weeks ago , I went with my co-workers there for their lunch Buffet and I absolutely loved it! Great Indian food but service can bog down – The food here is great, they have a large menu with lots of choices. We like vegetable somosas as an appetizer. At dinner, if it's busy service can suffer. I suggest going at off times or at lunch. They have a great buffet at lunch (no buffet at dinner.) Lunch buffet choices change regularly. Interior is brand new and decorated nicely in an Indian theme. If it's too busy, try Taste of Thai a few doors down or Casaldi's Cafe (Italian) around the corner.
