I have always had friendly, prompt attention from my Safeway pharmacy in Kensington, MD. I would highly recommend them
Nice staff but it takes FOREVER to get a prescription filled here, as compared to other pharmacies. Perhaps they need additional staff.
Of all in store pharmacies this one is the best I have used. I am impressed at how they put up with my sometimes grumpy head. Although some meds are not in stock at times I do think this place makes an effort to get and fill prescriptions.
As others have stated, this pharmacy is frequently out of medications and will not tell you until you arrive to pick it up. They also don’t call to tell you if your prescription is ready. If I do call, I’m placed on hold anywhere from 10-30 minutes. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I would highly recommend going to a smaller or family owned pharmacy instead.
