As the busiest Safeway in the state of AZ, it has its shortcomings and such, but the staff can be straight up rude. Most of the common cashiers display polished customer service, but the other customers are absolutely wretched. I've been literally called sexual slurs by people (in front of employees, who then did nothing). The gas station is alright, but the fuel is sub-par. Upon entering this safeway, i received that immediate feeling of unwelcomness that you get from time to time. This feeling was solidly confirmed no less than 10 minutes into my visit. Looking for a specific item, i asked an employee where i may find the popcorn. A fairly general item one would think, assuming to compentency of course.
