Safeway not so SAFE We like this store for the produce, which is always fresh, and the staff is ussually friendly, however safety is becoming a major issue. We've been accosted by agressive pandhandlers in the parking lot and upon entry to the store, we were burglarized from our company truck when a lawn leaf blower and several hand tools were stolen, and the other night someone tried to intimidate my husband with strong arm robbery! Great store We love this Safeway. Produce is always fresh, the sales are great and the people are friendly. The lines are never long either. We can pop in and out really quick.
The Deli Chicken...to die for! If you are ever wondering what to make for dinner then your family must try their already made Chicken in the deli section. I promise you will even love to dark meat:)
Great Customer Service I have always been pleased with my trips to the Lakewood Safeway. The employees are always pleasant and helpful. The store is always clean. The shelves are always well stocked. I do not mind having a Safeway Club Card as they let you key in your phone number if you do not have your card with you.
