Dropped off paper prescription and told them that I would be in the store to pick up. I didnt need to shop but rx was urgent so I was willing to wait. They quoted 30 minutes and I waited, often passing by the pickup counter to see if it was ready earlier. Apparently they had difficulty finding who the prescriber was and instead of calling me back to ask me my doctors name (either overhead in store or my phone# they had on file), they waited until I came up 40 min later asking what the delay was. I have had a good experience with transferring all my prescriptions to this Safeway Pharmacy from QFC. The cashier has become a chit chat friend, usually about my Yorkie. I think that most customers don't realize that having a grocery store pharmacy is so nice in many ways but to be profitable to the store as a whole, sacrifices ( limited labor ) are made. Think of how high prices would be to pay for enough staff to service customers right away. There are pharmacies that do that if you need white glove treatment. So suck it ... read more
