I've been consistently impressed with Safeway pharmacy. Their service is incredibly quick, and the staff is knowledgeable and always courteous. They make an effort to know their customers, which adds a personal touch to every visit. This terrific service is a stark contrast to my experiences with CVS, where the service has been nothing short of a disaster. Safeway pharmacy has earned my loyalty with their exceptional performance and customer care.
Switched to Safeway as my regular pharmacy from CVS mainly because Safeway has a more consistent stock of maintenance meds I take. It's also closer to my house and there seems to be less of a line to pick up scripts or talk to the pharmacist. There are probably fewer actions I can take via the Safeway app compared to the CVS app, making management of my scripts a touch more cumbersome, but it's a very minor tradeoff. We love all of the staff, but especially Carla!
Today I visited the Safeway Pharmacy, like I have done over the past 25 years living in McLean. Karla has always been a great Pharmacist, helping me and my family through Covid and other health problems. Today, she let me know about a new pneumonia shot that I should take. She said she knew I was one of her high risk patients with Asthma, so she wanted to let me know. Wow! I was blown away with her kindness and memory. Safeway is so lucky to have her on their team! Our family is so lucky to have her looking out for us.
