Safeway fired one of their managers for walking outside and getting stuff back from a shoplifter. Yep Chico Safeway says they have a no chase policy and that by walking out of the store after the shoplifter the manager fit that category and was fired. Since Safeway obviously wants to give away food we should all go to Safeway and just take what they are giving away, why should we all pay for food when they want to give it to us and they will even punish employees for trying to stop you they can't even "walk" out of the store... read more
