Everything pre made is either chocolate or has chocolate in or on it. No white cake, no plain fresh doughnuts, Everything has a glaze on it. If you do find plain ones they put them in a plastic container and are wet and sticky in the morning. The doughnuts we did buy are extremely sweet and wet and you can taste the lard. I've been shopping here for 7 years and the bakery has gone to lemon and chocolate Everything. As of 2024 you can't buy a dozen plain doughnuts here or anything without icing or chocolate. Hands down amazing customer service and friendly people. We ordered a custom cake over the phone from LaRie and she was so helpful and had great suggestions. Cake beat my expectations and my daughter was so happy!!! Highly recommend this Safeway bakery for any of your cake needs!!!
