Had an awful experience with the grocery pickup. Brown lettuce, completely brown pineapple, 3 things in my bag that I didn't order(and wasnt charged for, thankfully) and half the stuff I ordered wasnt in stock. Going back to Freddys, at least they know what they are doing and dont give you old produce.
Well an interesting Fathers Day. Went to Safeway with wife for groceries and the gestapo police was in force for masks. She, the assistant manager, was kicking out people who had medical conditions and could not wear a mask. Wear a mask or get out was the assistant managers cry. Awesome hometown store ! friendly staff
I went in on Thursday to take advantage of 'golden hours'. The other customers were okay, Safeway staff was working in the aisles without masks, and two workers (one may be from supplier but still a worker) were working across from each other. They barely had distancing apart and effectively blocked the aisle. Other employees were masked and respectful of distancing. I don't think I can go back to Seaside Safeway again.
Not sure hownthisnstore measures up with other Safeway stores but looks like no one has cleaned it in a week, same incompetent people calling the shots and a non existent store manager, makes me wonder why its the only grocery store in town....
I would love to see them open at 6am again. love this store and the people. miss my morning crew.
No paper bags, only PLASTIC!!! I will not be shopping at Safeway until they get paper bags or allow customers to use their own. I'm so disappointed in Safeway for not being more earth friendly! There are plenty of other grocery stores to choose from!
