I only shop there if I have to but most ppl are rude they stand around and do nothing they do enforce the rules .. Rude cashier! We didn’t see the sign about only one person groceries on belt at one time. Asked us to remove them which we did while she talked about us to the first customer. Blamed it on the CDC, but didn’t stop the customer behind us from putting hers on the belt. Pretty sure it’s store policy and NOT a CDC rule. It’s about the illusion that you are concerned about germs. The belt isn’t cleaned between customers so how did this help anything?
I love Safeway however our local Safeway here in Spearfish has become very laxed in the past few weeks in regards to the cleanliness of the carts there is no sanitizing of the carts and the sanitizing wipes at the door are often not available to customers and when they are they are already dried out not making much for sanitation

Safeway in Sonora has had me as their customer for the last time today. Instead of being a respectable establishment, they have decided to buy into the fashion trend of coronavirus, and require everyone to wear masks which don’t protect people. As a result, they have condoned their staff being confrontational with their customers. I will no longer be shopping at a place as pretentious as this.
I’ve been going to Safeway for literally decades. The staff today at the Safeway in Lodi, CA were so rude and condescending to me that they actually made me cry.
pricing sucks crap on demand like power aid have to go clean to P ville to get what you want at a fair price
if you try to make me wear a mask to come in your store I will not be coming to Safeway anymore that my favorite stores
