RecommendedI obviously know more because I work here so some of the intel inside. The store is great overall, most of the people who work are passionate and care for the customers,(the ones who have been here for ages and yes most of the newer ones too.) You can ask for help and you will get it, safeway offers refunds or exchanges for issues with most items. The store has gotten new touch ups with the lights, carts, and pinpads for the customers too! I've been in the store several times, but today and was very disappointed. First off, the gender netural sign on bathroom doors, wouldn't matter if they were kept clean. One of the bathrooms was disgusting, filthy, and smelly. It's 2019 do we really need signs for men to put the toilet set down!!! The other clean, because one one can use it because of a broken lock on the door. This is the last straw, you've lost my business!!!
Avocado prices are over the $2 now. They keep going up. And this is what I keep getting over and over again, rotten avocados, moldy strawberries, grapes, mushrooms. Last week I caught a tiny little worm crawling out of my packaged organic lettuce, i even have a picture of it. It is 2 min away from my house so its very convenient to shop here but going back to exchange or return products is an inconvenience and kind of frustrating now. Might just have to shop somewhere else.
Safeway in Corning kicked Tim Devine out of thier lot for getting doantions for the fire victums?

Used to be my favorite store. I am officially done w you, Safeway Corning. You need to remember that your customers should be first!! It has been the same story: You wont open checkstands to service your customers. Two checkstands open when there are 20-plus people in line is unacceptable customer service. Our time is valuable; I will gladly go to another store that makes their customers a priority.
