Shattered my back glass Thursday late afternoon and had it repair Friday afternoon. Was about to drop it off before 9:30am Friday morning and got a call before 2pm that it was finished. Everything was very straight forward and luckily I live very close to the valley view location ~5 min drive. It was a week wait for them to come to me so I opted to drive it there as I have 3 small kids. Dropped my car for a “drop and go” appointment at 9:30am. When I anrrived he informed me I had to go fill my car up with gas, because a quarter of a tank was not sufficient for their calibration test. It seems like that could have been communicated to me prior to my arrival. So I ran out to get gas and when I returned and they said they would call me later that day to pick up. They never called! Had a small tiny chip in my windshield. Went to safelite. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!!! The guy dug out the chip and turned a tiny ding into a big X. I was uncomfortable letting him do the work but he said they do it all the time and guarantee the work. Now here we are on the cold days and my windshield is completely cracked because he dug it out and made my ding much larger. They did a fantastic job replacing my side window after it was busted when someone tried to get in my car. Christian with Safelite there in a quick manner and let me know in advance when they would be there so I was prepared. He let me inspect the job before they left and they were nice and helpful with all my questions. And it was even less than my deductible so I don’t even need to put it in my insurance record. Great job, would recommend to others.
