Safelite is a bait and switch scam. The original quote was for $460 bucks, after the hidden fee it was over $1000. Dollars. What a scam. DO NOT USE Safelite!!!!
Went in today 8/25 at 2pm for a replacement back wind shield. They took my car a few minutes later and I was out of there within the hour! While waiting, I did get stung by a bee in the waiting room so be careful! Thankfully the front desk guy with the septum piercing(forgot to catch his name) went above and beyond to help me out and give me a band-aid! He was also very thoughtful and asked if I was allergic. Great experience here! The guys were friendly and helpful, service was quick and the location is next to a movie theater so I went to see a movie while the work was done! Highly recommend this place!
We decided to go with Safelite since they’re popular and have generally high reviews. We called customer service to schedule an appointment and got a slot for 2 days later. We chose to go to one of their physical locations instead of having onsite service, which was about a 30-minute drive. But when we were just a minute or 2 away from the location, they called to say the replacement window had a crack and they’d need to order a new one, so they couldn’t do it that day.
