Brought my car in for a windshield replacement. After waiting 3 hours for them to get the windshield glass and bring my car, they told me they couldn't replace my windshield as my car was showing "sensor errors", as I have heads up display and adaptive cruise control. Brought my car to Volvo to check the sensors, and all were fine. Unable to get an estimate WHEN someone answers the phone and have had 3 differerent people on 3 different dates over a period of a couple months tell me someone will call back but no one has. Had a repair to a windshield ding about a year ago.. It is beginning to split and I iwas told if it does that I’d need to have the windshield replaced. I intended to pay for it myself, as when the insurance company paid for a new windshield on my husband’s Corolla, the premium went up so much we’d have been better off paying for it ours... read more
