I could not rate lower than a 1. You put a new windshield in my Toyota FJ Cruiser. All was well until the top trim piece started coming off making a lot of wind noise. I believe you will repair it but I am giving you a low score for me not being able to contact a LIVE PERSON. The shop has moved in Wilmington and I do not know where. It will take a lot of driving around town to find the shop when a PHONE CALL WOULD SOLVE MY PROBLEM!! Your automated system does not have a LIVE PERSON. I am VERY UNHAPPY.
I had a most upsetting experience with a Safelite customer representative, which I later learned wasn't from this location but from a national call center. When the Wilmington location heard what happened, Haley called me and profusely apologized. Mistakes happen but how we handle them is the indication of a company, or a person for that matter. David at this Safelite location was AMAZING. I brought a Tesla Model Y in with a cracked windshield. David explained the entire process, the risks in repairing, the likely outcomes, and the price. There were no surprises and the thorough explanation was exactly what I was looking for. Due to the technical nature of the Tesla Model Y, he could have easily ripped me off and charged me an arm and a leg but he didn’t.
