My personal experience with safelite was that they have internal communication issues. On Sunday I made an appointment to have my windshield replaced by 2pm on Monday. They called after the appointment to say they hadn't received my glass on their shipment (from their own warehouse I believe) and wouldn't be able to put my windshield in until first thing Tuesday.
