I work night shift, and made a home appointment specifically on a day my wife would be home. No one attempted to knock on our door to say they were here, I only received a phone call which I obviously missed due to being asleep. After reaching out to see what was going on we were told we are Sol and would have to reschedule. Neither Jonathan the tech or the customer service woman had any remorse or interest in helping, so I'll simply choose another servicer instead.
I'm convinced the only reason they are still in business is because they don't have any competition when it comes to windshield replacers coming to the customer. They damaged my car and accused me of lying about it. They admitted to breaking one piece but not another piece that actually caused the car to leak when it rained. It was replaced a few years earlier by them with no issue. But the last time it leaked after they replaced it. I finally had to replace the vehicle. The "come to you" service isn't worth it. Waited around home all day for them to show and an hour after my appointment window they text me saying my appointment was canceled. No explanation. Then the only available window to reschedule was 4 days later. I wish my insurance company gave me another company to use.
Window is making noise, squeaking. Safelite says this is normal and will stop on its own. Was not mentioned by tech or in email correspondence on what to expect / do over the 24 hours following windshield replacement. For a $600 labor charge I'm expecting a little more. Will update with resolution. Safelite responds with send us an email... I did when I posted this review and so far they have only responded to the Google review telling me to send an email...
