Safelite was efficient and caring about my windshield replacement.
Absolutely fantastic, the ordering process through the app is the best of any company in any field, anywhere. It even interfaces with your auto insurance seamlessly to make a claim and pay the minimum amount. The mobile service van and tech came to my house and the whole windshield replacement was done beautifully and quickly. I would highly recommend Safelite. Fantastic experience from start to finish.
3 stars for Safelite but the extra star is for your techs who put up with corporate greed and exploitation of their employees. My appointment had to get rescheduled a second time due to the techs being given too many appointments which isn’t the tech’s fault. When being asked in the survey about whether or not the tech went over other features, I had to say no but it would have been nice to have been given those options and might have done them. Three strikes for Safelite Santa Maria. Brought the first windshield without tinting, and returned it. Brought the second window without tinting and returned it. Finally told me that the tinted version was discontinued, so we rescheduled again. This time I waited for 1/2 day after confirming the appt and the didn’t show up. Called the shop and they said I was scheduled but NOT routed and said they wouldn’t be coming out to see it.
