Trying to force 500$ on people for a calibration is a scam plain and simple, I can do this in my driveway for free. Will be reporting to the better business bureau.
I had a great experience with Safelite when they replaced the windshield on my Range Rover. The entire process was smooth, fast, and their communication was excellent from start to finish. The technician arrived on time, worked efficiently, and kept me updated throughout the appointment. This was a very streamlined process to have the windshield replaced in my vehicle. Upon completion of the work, the technician (unfortunately I did not get his name) who delivered my vehicle was very professional and explained that the camera had been recalibrated and also informed me of what not to do regarding the vehicle as the glue was settling. I am very pleased with the service provided by Safelite.
