I got a truck a couple weeks ago and the windshield had a small crack. It had been like that for quite some time, but it couldn't wait to expand once it had a new home. I see Safelite commercials and remember their jingle, so I decided to check them out. This was after I had already called around for some quotes. Customer Service is poor. All communication is handled through automated responses. Can't even call the shop directly. I've shown up to appointments several times and they are not ready for me and didn't send me a message or try and reschedule until after I show up. When I try and call to confirm they actually are ready for me I have to wait in line for a call center to answer the phone. Very frustrating.
Seriously, do not go here! There install quality is terrible. Had my windshield crack, not because of anything hitting it, but because of how it was installed. Past the “warranty” period so they wouldn’t replace it. Went to Prime Auto Glass instead. Night and day difference from customer service to pricing. I will only go to Prime from now on.
Went in to get a rock chip repaired, and left needing a new windshield. They told me the chip was repairable but could get a little bigger while they worked on it. I handed them the key and sat in the lobby. 5 min later I left with a 10 inch crack in my windshield and no offer to offset or discount the replacement cost of a new windshield. Just a replacement quote and “that sucks” from the guy at the counter
I broke my back windshield and did a mobile order and was not disappointed. I was very happy when the worker came and discussed with me an accident that had happened on his end and helped me schedule a in shop appointment. Overall, I was very happy from the moment I called to get a quote all the way until they were done with my car. Highly recommend them!
