When making my appointment I was asked by Safelite Florence (unsolicited) if I would like them to do the safety camera calibration. I asked if they had the right equipment and did they know how to do it. They responded 'yes'. After installing the windshield the installer spent about 15 minutes trying to calibrate the camera and ultimately gave up saying they could not get the camera calibrated. Terrible service!!!!The tech broke the molding off around my windshield and then I received a call stating my pet came in.After waiting in the shop a few minutes I was told oh sorry there was a mix up your part isn’t here not for another 5-7 days.Waste of time going here would never recommend anyone to go here.Unorganized staff!!!!!

This is about the only company that I don’t mind calling. After I called they arrived at my convenience. The service tech “Matthew” was polite. He did a meticulous job when he replaced my windshield. Matthew called before he arrived. He promptly and professionally did his job. He cleaned all my car windows and cleaned the interior. It’s a pleasure to deal with a pleasant employee. I like Safelite!
Worst experience! Was referred to Safelite by my auto insurance. The first call their quote matched their online quote. The next day they called to set the appointment and increased the estimate by $200+! They claimed no knowledge of the quote the day before. After a transfer to exec services they suddenly found the quote and explained the difference was we were paying out of pocket, which make no sense because the first quote was less than our deductible and their online quote with or without insurance was the same amount. ... read more

Had a chip in the windshield. Scheduled to have the chip repaired on a Saturday window was 8-12am. I was told I would get a message with the installers image and name never got it. Also supposed to get a call 30 min before arrival that didn't happen. They never called me to let me know the installer was running behind i called 15 min past 12am and while i was on the phone the installer was just pulling up. Safelite came and said they had the wrong glass and they would be right back with the right one. Never called and said they were not coming back nothing. All they did was cancel my order with Geico (probably so I could not complain) and never show back up again. The other company came out and told me its was because my glass needed to be special ordered. If Safelite did not want to do the work they could have at least told me.
They installed our windshield quicker than expected and were very professional. The technician came out to my house and was finished in one hour.
