We were on vacation, driving from Texas to Montana, when my windshield cracked badly. Working with our insurance company (USAA), it was easy to book an appointment with Safelite in Missoula. On the positive side, the location was easy to get to, staff were courteous and did a good job explaining the replacement process (including what to do and not to do when I got my truck back), and the replacement was actually completed quicker than quoted. I’m sure people who have full auto coverage are the only ones who use Safelite, as they quoted 275$ for a simple small rock chip; the only other rock chip repair place in Missoula quoted a simple 65$. What a price gouge updated: went to Rock Chip Squad in Missoula Montana , charged a flat 65$- absolute insanity that Safelite is charging 275 for a nickel sized pin point chip. The guys at rock chip squad agree, to say the least!
