I had a leaking windshield that needed to be replaced and resealed. I made an appointment with Safelite. My truck was taken in pretty fast. As I sat in the lobby, I could see the technician working on it thru the window. As I watched, I observed him working on it. He was extremely through with his work. Rechecking it over and over for any thing that needed to be corrected. At several times he took out a blower to make sure there was nothing left in the channels. After a rock cracked my windshield, I reached out to Safelite for an appointment and windshield replacement. I was able to get an appointment for the next morning. The office staff was friendly and helpful, confirming that everything was covered through insurance. The tech was efficient and I was out of there within an hour and a half. I even received a follow up reminder to remove the tape on the windshield. Very happy with the experience.
Tried calling the Clifton Park, NY safelite location and it kept hanging up on me. Apparently you can’t talk to any live person at safelite. Super difficult to get a quote and schedule service.
