They send scratched glass from their warehouses to their shops then tell the customers they are going to refund the deductible then come back later after the customer keeps trying to get ahold of them to figure out what is going on(4 times later in 14 days). And now say it’s only half the deductible they are going to refund. So this company is ok with their management teams lying to customers.
I had a side window blow out. I tried multiple calls to their phone number on weekend and could not speak to anyone and was forced to book online. On Monday morning I call and changed it to mobile visit. My wife called back to verify and was told no mobile visit was booked and had to go to the store location. The window glass was removed and vacuumed out of car before going to store. We were still charged $38 for recycling fees. Excellent service. Was able to come out the next day. Very communicative, updating on expected time of arrival. Came shortly after the earliest window.
After installing new glass but not setting up the lane change tech correctly Safelight made arrangements to come to our house to correct it. Then, day of the tech work, we got a note that we needed to bring it into the shop instead. Total dail
