Did not repair chip properly and was told if they broke the windshield during repair, I would have to pay for a new one. Absolutely terrible experience....and to be clear per the shops reply below, if THEY break your windshield in the repair process, YOU pay for a new one, less the $30 bucks or so for chip repair. Absurd.
I was very pleased with the service from Safelite. I thought my cracked could be repaired, but when the tech came he said it couldn’t be repaired. He set me up on the spot for a windshield replacement. Two days later a tech came to my home and installed a new windshield. It looks exactly like the old one. The best thing about Safelite is coming to you for repair. You won’t go wrong with Safelite if you need a repair or a new windshield. Excellent service!
