Really great experience. We had purchased a used car and bought it as-is. It had a cracked windshield beyond a simple repair - we had to replace it outright. Without insurance, we were worried about the cost. Jack with Safelite came out and took care of it at our house for cheaper than expected.
Had a great experience with Safelite. They came to my house and completed all the work in my driveway. The recalibration went smoothly and everything works like it should.

I went online to check to see if I had glass coverage on our vehicle with Auto Owners Insurance and we did. I started a claim and they directed me to the Safelite webpage. Safelite came to our house the next day and repaired the windshield in 2 1/2 hours. The service techs were polite, described everything that was being done and very professional. If I could leave 0 stars, I would but I’m forced to leave one. My rearview mirror fell out of the windshield while I was driving, which is obviously a huge safety hazard. This happened on Saturday, and I was told the warranty department was closed until Monday. That meant I had to go two days without being able to safely drive my car. When I called on Monday, the representative explained that the warranty is “lifetime” as long as you own the car and that it covers things like rain damage, faulty glass, and installation error... read more
