Do not send your child here. Most of the staff was good but some were very unprofessional and if you complain about them they will call CPS on you and make false allegations against you. There was HIPPA and Dignity and Respect violations going on here and instead of addressing the concerns of parents and client they resort to lying. My child said she got nothing out of being there. This place is a joke. Therapy sessions is coloring and sitting around doing nothing.
This “medical professional” is the epitome of chase the money. I can tell thy have barely any funding so they ramp up the “care”. Sad.
I’m 14 now but I went in 2022-2021 around that time idk. But they treated me so well I loved the staff we had good meals every day and they were so patient with us I recommend taking your children here if they NEED help .( my favorite staff member was a curly hair lady she had glasses her name was miya I think)
I think this place is wonderful! I know a couple of the reviews are quite bad, but they're a bit outdated as when I went there the managers were both relatively new. This place is honestly the best bet you have for a mental hospital, it has 1-on-1 therapy with an actual therapist, many of the workers are quite kind and talkative. i stayed here back in august and it was pretty good in my opinion, but there were some flaws. most of the staff were pretty nice and from my personal experience the other children there were nice as well, but obviously that can vary depending on when you stay. but, i feel like this experience personally didn’t help me as much. i struggle with depression and ptsd and i think most of the activities were pretty boring and didn’t really help me. especially since you have to do them multiple times in 1-2 weeks which gets repetiti... read more
