Was very pleased with Dr. K and staff. I feel my child grew and progressed here. Everyone was kind and understanding and patient with myself and my son. I believe Safehaus may have finally broken some barriers that were in the way of my childs growth and healing due to his mental health and we can continue moving forward on the journey of healthy happy mental strength. Our child was here last year, there was very little supervision and there were both boys and girls in the same house with no supervision. Very disappointed that this was where we turned to at a very hard time in our child’s life. This is not a safe place for children who are at risk.
This place is a joke, child taken there because he had hit me and outta control, acts good for a week until he doesn’t get what he wants and flips out and and says he is going to hurt everyone and they call the mother who was already abused to come pick him up. Why do they have docs who are able to prescribe meds, and not to mention all the other people in and out of that place, can you tell me that not one person can control this child. So messed up.
They fed into my brothers video game addiction and made him worse after we CLEARLY said NO games! Not just that during intake, they didn't even listen to us, and what we had to say in my opinion none of them are doing their job and they are all very unperfessional and it's very sad to say.
This place is completely useless as a facility. They let my videogame addicted son play videogames after being instructed not to let him have access to games. He has an addiction. So hopefully your kid isn't addicted to any substances because they will just give that to them as well. The staff made false aligations to CPS against me. Saying I wasn't picking him up.
