My son was hit by a Safeco Insured driver and she was given a ticket which she paid for running a red light. Despite this evidence and the police report they have yet to approve his claim. We have contacted the SCDOI and a lawyer is the next step. The customer service reps have been belittling him when he has had a chance to get them on the phone. Don't wait on a claim report them to the SCDOI
My parents has them for couple of years and their roof is leaking bad and they what $3500 to proceeds the repairs. That's not right. Insurance companies are robberies. It's good to take our money but when we have a problem they don't want to help.

After 3 years with this company, I will go out of my way to let people know not to use them. Roadside assistance was part of the package, we paid for it, and after a nightmare situation with a tow, we got absolutely no help from Safeco at all. The tow truck driver dragged our car for almost 3 miles, ruining the rear brakes, and then ripped the front bumper off the car when they dropped it off.
