I filed a claim on January 21, 2021. Today is April 4, 2021, The insurance adjuster closed the file in March, even though I still have not been made whole. When I filed the claim, I was told to call 511 for financial help. Apparently, the adjuster and her manager could not determine coverage even though it was clearly stated in my policy. I've asked for very specific information about special assessment coverage, after signing up they will not assist me with any special assessments. Now with all of my denied claims, I can't move to another company so I'm trapped with someone that is unwilling to help.

I've had Safeco renter's insurance for the last 3 years. I've never used them once. I live in Texas and have been without power in my apartment the entire week. With temperatures getting down into the 30s, I had to rent hotel rooms the entire time. Safeco is refusing to help mitigate the cost of the hotel rooms and all the food that was lost in my refrigerator and freezer. I'm dropping this company. What good is insurance if the aren't there when you need them. Stay away from this company.

Thanks to the reviews here I decided not to sign up with Safeco home and auto insurance. I can't give my business to a company that does not value its customers and reputation.

Damaged my front differential in a snowstorm in Colorado it hit a rock. Without even consideration of used parts they inflated the bill of materials and just tried to total the car which has no damage to the frame or body it just needs a front differential and a muffler. It’s a Lexus so those parts are expensive. They use three junkie cars to compare my value with to make my value low , all the while They inflate the repair bill with unneeded repairs just to total the car.
