Run. Just run. This insurance has taken our money for years and isn't willing to cover the basics. They also raised and raised their prices. They recommended their own mold remediation company to remediate mold in our house as we went with it in good faith. They brought in a non-certified company to get rid of mold in my house and they messed it up. They ghosted us for a year, not responding. I recently switched to SAFECO here in Oklahoma from Allstate in Washington state. I received good quotes my homeowners was ok not the lowest but my auto insurance was very good rates. I haven't had an accident since 2004 and a ticket since 2010 so my insurability is/was great. I had a big fender bender on 11/25/25. Neither me nor the other driver were written a ticket. I'm 15 minutes into a call to simply cancel a policy, nothing but automated nonsense that doesn't allow you to work through the prompts. Horrendous customer service!
I cancelled on March and they still collect April payment, I e mail my agent and he said he was taking care of it as today no one answered e mails or phone calls
Worse company ever. Can not cancel policy. Customer service is terrible. Agent unavailable. The main company can not get in touch with there agents. You can not do anything without agent. Except make payment. Safeco is a zero. Endless loop of automated responses. If you do get a person the only thing their staff is capable of doing is transferring you to an automated system. Very poorly trained company. Scam company. Do not use this company. Shopper beware
