The booking process was simple and easy to arrange. The inspector turned up on time at the dealer. The inspector provided a very comprehensive report with over 150 photo and highlighted a number of things that needed pre-sale remediation, as well as a couple that I need to take care of over the next six months as preventative maintenance to extend the life of the vehicle. The verbal report was also comprehensive and gave me pointers on what to push the dealer to fix immediately.
Safebuy were super easy to book with (up to date, online bookings and could usually get a slot within 2-3 business days), with clear explanations of their different packages on offer. Norman - one of the mechanics - did two different car checks for me and he was expert, thorough and carefully and patiently explained all of the relevant findings to help me make my purchase decision. Disappointed, disgusted and completely unreasonable. The experience of buying a car for my daughter has been completely ruined. The level of customer service is zero. The owner of a workshop where the car was booked for the inspection unfortunately was in hospital due to complications of a heart attack. The inspection has to be cancelled last minute. I am the seller of the car, and the buyer organised an inspection before purchasing. The schedule was booked for 1:30pm on Saturday and 10 minutes before scheduled time, Norman had texted to advise he is running an hour late (ETA 2:20pm). The phone with Norman was very condescending as I asked if he was going to be sure with the new ETA, and while trying to work it out with Norman, he raised his voice asking if he has permission to come or not?
