6 years ago, I was denied help. I asked to help get a pfa. I was hit and shoved by an ex, I was told because custody was currently happening a judge wouldn’t hear me. This isn’t right, everyone should have the opportunity to be heard. How can you know someone’s full story in a 20 minute phone call. Because I was unable to get help, I am facing continual verbal abuse, financial and litigation abuse. He needed stopped then, but instead I am continually pulled every direction by a system that is supposed to be fair.
