Overall terrible company. We signed up with them over 2 years ago and everything was fine until about a month ago. One of our outdoor cameras stopped recording motion events even though the sensitivity was set to high. We attempted to contact customer service but never received a phone call back. Do not use them for your security. It has been 6 days and still no one has called me back with the issues i have with my cameras. When they installed the control panel they stapled the wires across my wall and I had to do it correctly. Now they are taking payment directly out of my account when I personally told them not too. Im cancelling in the morning and going to vivint. Do yourself a favor and save your money by not using safe home security
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!! I have never experienced a customer facing company that refuses to allow unhappy customers to cancel. You can cancel with Xfinity, Netflix, Apple but God forbid an 80 year old man attempts to cancel his service. This company and their salesman, Joesph Bell, totally scammed my elderly parents. They have to pay 90% to 100% of a 5 year contract to cancel within the first 30 days!!! This is still America, right? What kind of people do this???
Can’t get a tech ever! System keeps going offline. Trapped into 5 yr contract I didn’t know I agreed to because they did it electronically and manipulated the app themselves. Reps told me they were with Vivint! They tore out my Vivint then after installing new devices, they handed me a Safe Home sticker. I blew up!
Terrible Service. Tried to cancel service and was basically told "Too Bad." I submitted a cancellation letter as instructed, they sent a very vague reply. So I called back again and the lady was very rude and told me to do whatever I need to do. I am aware that Safe Home Security is bound by multi-million dollar state attorney general settlements and strict regulatory stipulations regarding unfair, deceptive auto-renewal mechanisms and the failure to honor cancellations, as they've had a ton of these issues.
