We contacted the marina to inquire about availability as the weather had taken a turn for the worse. Initially, we planned to stay for just one night, but due to the weather conditions, our stay extended to five nights. Mike and Doug were exceptional hosts. Despite the strong winds, they regularly checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed, and I observed that they were also diligently checking on other boats, regardless of whether the owners were present. Great spot... Friendly, courteous staff and great accommodations.
Described as the best marina on the New England coast, and with good reason. Amazing, friendly, competent staff, best slips and things to do within walking distance when you come in by boat, best marine mechanics anywhere.
Watching history being honored and replayed by several people, marching bands, soldiers firing Canons , the ship replica of the the Mayfair, all the pom and circumstance, I was utterly in awe of everyone and everything , the horses, the marines, the antique cars . Had a beautiful time, got very emotional at times , I am so proud of everyone and of our history. God Bless America 🙏❤
