So, my experience with boat yards is a mixed bag. A lot of the time it has to do with the situation that is currently happening in the boat yard. As if 5/2026 this yard is efficient. I think these guys are fair. My total bill was about 20% above the quote, but you have to be realistic and expect that…it is not an exact science. Excellent yard. One of the best I’ve seen and used in 6 years of sailing the world. Service department had excellent communication. The transparency was hugely welcomed. Casey and his team are excellent. Will definitely be back again.
I had a terrible experience with another shop working on my Mercury 150. Called these folks and explained my situation. They sent someone out the next day. Within 20 minutes, they identified the problem and explained the issue to me (I know nothing about boats). I had them undertake the repair, which they did within a day of me signing off. Totally different experience from the other shop. We couldn’t be happier.
