Safe Harbor is an abysmal, irresponsible steward of Low Country wildlife; the same wildlife that draws thousands to our shores and puts money in their pockets. Instead of acting as responsible members of our community, they refused to allow their gates to stay open a few extra minutes to assist in the rescue of an injured sea turtle. Too bad getting a beer “on time” after work trumped human decency. It’s disgusting and absolutely unacceptable.
As with most safe harbor marinas, overpriced to the point of predatory. We have use safe harbor all down the east coast and the one in Charleston is the worst.
Charleston is one of my favorite places to stop on the east coast. Friendly people, great food, great city, lots to walk around and take in. Safe harbor is one of the best spots to stop heading north or south.
Excellent dock attendants & staff on this recent visit...A+ customer service...
