When we moved into our home we had a leak in the attic where the chimney met the rest of the house. Dave came out and provided a comprehensive estimate and inspected both inside and outside the house to make sure there weren’t any undetected issues. He fixed the chimney flashing at a reasonable price and quickly. We had other estimates but felt the best about working with Dave and his guys. There have been several rainstorms since the repair and no return of the leak.
I have been using safe chimneys since 2019 for my annual chimney cleaning. Our house is over and 90 years old and this year we needed to repoint our chimney, replace the damper and add a rain cap. This was not a a small job! Dave and his team were quick to visit the house to provide a very reasonable estimate and timetable to begin work. Excellent. I was referred to Safe Chimneys Inc by a friend. The owner David Kent came to inspect both of my Chimneys. He took pictures of inside of each fireplace which were both in excellent condition. Therefore, Mr Kent patiently explained to me how I should operate each of them. Mr Kent then recommended using the fireplaces to start a small fire to ensure that each fireplace function properly. Dave Kent of Safe Chimneys installed a stainless steel liner in my chimney, which was required for a new high efficiency boiler. He was extremely great to work with - no nonsense, fair pricing, easy to reach. He even moved up the install date for me. I would highly recommend Safe Chimneys Inc!
