The Worst Vet Ever! Abuses animals be careful. The vet botched a simple spay of a female cat who ended up with worms after leaving his facility. He was also overpriced and a total ripoff. He has a bad reputation in the area and there have been allegations of animal abuse against him which his former employees will gladly corroborate.
NOT RECOMENDED I'm so very glad I found this page. I am going to recant my personal experiences at this animal ??clinic? that spans from 1995 ?? 2004. I first went to to this vet for his expertise with avian species. I raise and show all over the country extremely rare poultry that you don't just wring their neck when they become in need of medical attention. I had this ??vet? work on four birds. Safari Animal Clinic is Proactive and Caring!! This is the most caring veterinarian office I have ever visited. I have had multiple dogs over the last 30 years, and all other vets had long waiting times, and moved us through briskly, did not get to know my pets and were very short in discussions with me. A rewarding Experience I have been going to Safari for almost a year now and have always been impressed by the level of care and commitment that Dr. Nelmapius and the staff always give. Safari Animal Clinic is not like any other vet i've been to i initially stopped in only to buy dog food because i was in the area (i live in seffner). There was a person who immediately greeted me at the door. she was very helpful with info because they didnt have the brand i usually get. there was not a sale that day but the education i received on dog food, diets, heartworm diease and almost everything else was more than i had ever recvd from pet stores or my own vet. i was a little shocked that she cared more that my dog ... read more
