I have applied several times for different positions posted for this company. Granted I worked there in 2001 as a CNA so I’m very familiar with this nursing home and originally from the area. I have gained degrees to qualify for admin positions and each and every time I apply, within the same day I check the status on the job board and it’s “not selected “ it NEVER FAILS. I was discharged from a local hospital to this nursing home for rehab and physical therapy. I was there for 4 months and did not receive the care that the hospital wanted for me. However, I did receive poor care including pressures sores. They say only a RN can administer medications, but often there were times when an RN did not show up for work and patients did not receive medications. During the time I was there, I never saw a doctor. The aides are supposed to accompany the patient to their doctor’s appointments. They do ... read more
My father died here during the 1st wave of COVID-19. After I visited him the awful smell of urine was embedded in my nostrils hours later. The staff just seems to stand around looking.

My grandfather spent 4 days at Sadie G. Mays. On his 4th day there I visited him in response to a call home from him saying he was not getting the care he needed. When I arrived there had not yet been an attempt to completely sit him up in his bed, and he was hanging off the side of the bed with his full weight leaning on a flimsy lunch stand that was in the room.
