In Steamboat for the first time. Went to Saddleback for a 2 hour horseback ride and really enjoyed it. In fact, my wife and I enjoyed it so much we went back two days later for another private horseback ride. Lilly our guide was incredible....She was knowledgeable with horses, very safety conscience, but also very laid back and relaxed. My wife and I had a wonderful time on the ride. The scenery is spectacular. My wife had never wrote a horse before and they were very good with giving her one that would be nice and gentle with her. I would recommend it if you're in Steamboat Springs to do this, you will not regret it.
Such a fantastic experience. McCartney was an entertaining and helpful guide. Not just your regular ride. She allowed Bert and Elf to be themselves and give the riders some memorable experiences and views. Definitely recommend!
We did the 2 hour guided ride with Lily and it was the highlight of our trip. Lily was a lot of fun and extremely knowledgeable and you could really tell all of the horses are very well taken care of. We’ll be back and I’d highly recommend to anyone!
Absolutely cannot recommend a horseback ride with Saddleback Ranch enough! We were able to book a last-minute 2 hr ride, and are so grateful we did as it was a highlight of our trip. I have done several guided horseback rides and this was my favorite! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the ranch was shockingly beautiful and picturesque, and our guide McCartney was the icing on the cake.
