A 8,000 acre fourth generation working cattle ranch 15 miles west of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Escape to Saddleback Ranch to enjoy a relaxing day of riding, working cattle and seeing some gorgeous scenery. It is a day you will never forget! In the winter we offer: 2 hour Photo Opportunity Horseback Rides Snowmobile Tours and our YEE HAW Tubing Hill In the summer we offer: Cattle Drives- a 4 hour ride moving cattle 2 hour Photo Opportunity Rides- Afternoon ride Horseback or Wagon Dinner Rides!!

Thank you Lily for the great experience. These horses are happy and good. We've been on plenty of trail rides with unhappy, broken down horses that march along slowly in a line, and that was not the experience here. These horses had life, and personalities, and it was fun. The scenery was beautifu,l and our guide Lily was so kind and funny. The rest of the staff (all women) were friendly and great as well. We will absolutely be back.

Me and my teenage daughters had the honor of riding with McCartney on a July morning. She took us through fantastic terrain, saw stunning vistas and explained the history of Saddleback Ranch. It exceeded our expectations and so much fun. If you’re on the fence, do it! You won‘t regret it. Thanks to all at Saddleback Ranch!
Our guide, Lily, was amazing today!! So very thankful for her expertise and amazing attitude & personality!! She was so fun to learn from and talk to. Everyone’s rides went very smoothly with lots of smiles and laughs! Couldn’t be happier! The pictures turned out gorgeous too and she helped us take lots at the top!
