Visiting the Saddleback Leather Company store was a wish and dream that was recently fulfilled on a work and pleasure-trip. We worked with Keegan and he was extremely patient, helpful, and kind. He answered all of our questions and even provided local facts and recommendations. I was able to see all the bags, finishes, and sizes in one place. Amazing! I love Saddleback Leather products. The quality and look are unique and awesome. I've been using my messenger backpack heavily for 10+ years and frequently receiving compliments about it. Gradually one of the stainless steel ring strap attachment points at the bottom had worn through the leather and was nearing failure. I was worried this might be difficult to get repaired but Saddleback made it incredibly easy. In life somethings must be smelled, held, or felt to truly be appreciated—Saddleback bags are one of those things. I have been admiring these briefcases for years and my wife finally gave me one for anniversary. Love the Saddleback Company and the workmanship, however this bag does not work for me. Its gorgeous and durable and built like a bank vault however its not functional. Its too heavy, Im 6'1 ( physically fit) and its very uncomfortable to carry between gates at airport.
