First, I would like to begin that I have no issue with my provider. However, I have been waiting 3 months for my appt. and today during my appt. I was informed that they had never received my authorization and that it just expired. Which would have been a simple call for me to make to my insurance to have one sent over. When I asked, why I had not been called earlier they didn't have an answer and offered me an appointment in January.
I have been waiting on an authorization for a procedure for over 2 months and called the office at least 7 times with no call back . I had to contact my insurance company myself as the office staff are totally incompetent .
I had an out of the blue Grand Mal seizure two and a half weeks ago, and I’ve called Sacred Heart Neurologist every other day to try to get my initial appointment scheduled. They continue to say my authorization is in review. I have TriCare insurance & referral from a military base, so there should be no reason they can’t review my auth to get me scheduled.
