The staff try to get Veterans with surgery needs to go elsewhere. The Veterans who are having surgeries are told they have no housing for spouse or family members at the Stockton clinic under Sac VA at Mather.Told while having heart surgery I am 100% service connected wife should sleep in personal vehicle. Travel pay and hotel would not be reimbursed. We live over 100 miles away. Social workers cannot speak English. Horrible care. Patient rep twice never returned phone calls.
Staff and care at Sacramento VA Medical Center have been great across the board!!
I've had nothing but good Healthcare Services from Mather. My doctors are excellent, they stay on top of my issues, and they are very proactive to ensure I live a good healthy life.
This location is great! They are accommodating, friendly, and he remembered me from a previous visit 2 weeks ago. We were out in just a few minutes. some additional information that I was unaware of for Veteran benefits. I highly recommend this location - thank you Sir for the top notch service!
