Sorry to the civvies who got turned away, but the V in VA stands for Veterans. My service from ER visit was great. I wait till evening after 5pm, to be seen. It's probably Hella packed during the day. I was taken to the back in 30 min. Staff are friendly from registration, triage, to the NP. Even the rest of the staff you see are positive and friendly. My total time was 2 1/2 hours. It would have been faster, if not for lab and pharmacy. But they service the entire hospital, so it's not the ER's fault. Hopes this helps fello... read more
I was seen really fast. The Dr and staff were really professional and thorough. They took their time with me and explained my illness in terms that I could understand. They were really thoughtful.
Had heart attack symptoms a year ago and they turned me away because I'm not a VA... had to go to Folsom. I thought if it's life threatening you can always go here? It says so at every ER I've ever been to for other things! Just go elsewhere, especially if your life depends on it.
