If a negative rating could be applied, I would! Long story short: I got behind in filing my taxes and when life got back (somewhat) under control I hired STR to file taxes for years 21-24. The person assigned to my files(Chevy) was horrendous making multiple recurring errors and mistakes. i.e. not showing I had health coverage, resulting in a $1600 penalty by the government, even though my 1095-B Health Coverage form was provided to STR. The commercial lies, never got his free book, commercial guarantees they will help, but you sign a contract that says there is no guarantee they can help reduce what i owe. They actually made my tax debt worse by lack of communication. Four years later I got a notice from the IRS that Sacramento Tax Resolution set up a payment plan but failed to let me know, so the IRS charged me with 4 more years of intrest charges!
