Sacramento Rehabilitation Hospital is an excellent facility! From the moment my sister arrived to the day she was released, the care from EACH and EVERY staff member was outstanding and exceptional! Their goal was very apparent from the get go, to make sure each patient is well cared for, challenged to reach their personal goal while doing this with encouragement, compassion, laughter, and pure joy. One of the best experiences ever! My disabled sister in law went through knee surgery in Walnut Creek and our family was told the only rehab facility available was there in Walnut Creek (she lives in Folsom). We needed to transfer her quickly due to the deplorable experience at the original facility after only one day. We frantically started calling multiple facilities in the Sacramento region and had almost given up hope of a transfer, as it was Saturday afternoon. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. There were only a few good nurses and maybe 2 good Patient Care Techs (PCTs). The therapy departments — Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy — were excellent, and I truly appreciate the work they do. Having private rooms was also a plus. However, the nursing care and upper management were very disappointing. Many of the nurses seemed overwhelmed, short-staffed, and overworked, which led to poor patient care. I felll and broke my hip back in January . I was moved from Rideout Hospital in Yuba City by ambulance to your hospital and stayed for I believe 2 weeks. I was treated very well. Having never really been in a hospital before, I was very comfortable there. All the doctors ,nurses, therapists and actually everyone was really helpful, knowledgeable , sympathetic ,, quick to respond , the whole hospital was very clean and kept up. Outstanding nurses and staff. The nurses make you feel like you’re very important and they take time to make sure you are comfortable. The therapists was very supportive and kind they encouraged me to take the next step and praised me to fight just a little harder.
