I have been going to this place for years and I've never had a bad pizza. The staff are great and the atmosphere is awesome. I am always telling people to come here for great pizza.

I am new to the area and is looking for some really great pizza. I saw that Luigi's was rated as one of the best pizza place in Sacramento so I checked it out. I ordered sausage and mushrooms which I'm sure would've been an ok pizza if it hadn't been for the copious amounts of seasoning that were put on the top. Our family's quest every Friday in search of Great Pizza in Sacramento has lead us to this quaint Pizza Parlor. We were personally greeted by it's long time owner, Luigi who was extremely welcoming. He made us feel right at home. We have the perspective of all ages from 8-68. We ordered both the thin and regular crust Pizza's and on scale from 1-10 (1being the worst and 10 being the best) PIZZA scores a 10. Luigi's has been around for some 45 years. I have been going there for about 25 years. After living in NYC for 4 years in the 60's, one thing I learned is that NYC pizza is the real deal! I frequented Queens Pizzaria in Brooklyn Heights, which was NY Times number 1 rated pizza in NY...LOVED IT! They made a pastrami pizza to die for! WOW!
