I really wanted to enjoy myself... my first concern was that they were going to send my family with young children out on the river during a heavy thunderstorm...we were against it. Then they said they'll let us come out on the river the next day then. OK cool. So we book it the next day after finding the right person to talk to... they agreed to pick up our personal paddleboards at the end but tried to change their minds when getting picked up! Wouldn't change a thing. The water level was a bit low, but we were warned. We were still able to float down 95% of it and it was incredibly relaxing. Everyone involved was polite and professional and I highly recommend it. Definitely going back next year.
This was a very nice trip. We did have to get out of the boat and carry it along shallow areas about six times. This is no fault of the business owners but is simply because the area is experiencing a drought. The water levels were very low. We also brought our dog, something I recommend not doing. Our dog hates getting wet and it made it a lot more difficult to do everything having her with us. Overall I'm glad we did this and I'm glad we brought our dog, but the dog definitely made it harder.
