A very rude lawyer, took a deposit and promised to work on the file right away, after almost a month of waiting and calling, I asked for my deposit back and was spoken in a extremely rude tone and $1000 was deducted from my $2500 deposit, with a ridiculous receipt of hours calculations and a 2 page incomplete submissions was emailed to me as proof of work, IMHO Simon the lawyer might be good in other areas of law, but definitely not recommend for Family Law Matters. If I could leave a 0 star review I would, this man Simon Akumchi is the rudest lawyer we have ever encountered, he doesn’t have any customer service skills, please don’t use his firm or you will be disappointed. This was the worst experience we have had, very unprofessional. Doing things from his bedroom. Not family friendly at all. We were not doing this for free by the way.
We are so grateful to Simon for his incredible support during the purchase of our first home. From the very beginning, he guided us through all the legal aspects of the process with clarity and professionalism.
